Why this group?
We are working on building/applying the mathematical models which are used to ascertain information of the quirky world of the quantum. There are very few people doing this work. 

What makes you passionate about your work?
Knowing a good mathematical model has the most broad applicability towards our understanding of nature. 

What work activity do you enjoy the most?
Problem solving, creating visual understanding of concepts. 

How do you intend to make use of your PhD in the future?
Likely work for a national laboratory to further build and apply quantum models. 

What is your project?
Currently, TBD. Most likely building on methods of quantum chemistry to make them better. 

Why is it interesting?
You get to decipher a world which no one truly understands yet, helping others along the way.
