Why this group? 
This group is exciting because computational chemistry has the potential to grow tremendously in the future and I want to be a part of that. 

What makes you passionate about your work?
When I get to study mathematical equations. 

What do you enjoy most about your work?
There is always something new to learn. 

Why UIowa? 
There’s a lot of cross-disciplinary research and collaborations happening with the chemistry department. I also want to be a college professor and so the opportunity to earn a college teaching certificate helped me decide on UIowa.

What are your future career plans? 
I intend to be a professor at a PUI, encouraging students not to be afraid of math or coding in chemistry!

What is your project? 
I am interested in understanding inorganic reactions.
